Large metal plaque gifted by the American Red Cross. Plaque has the inscription: 'Placed here by the American Red Cross on its second anniversary in Glasgow - August 1944 - in appreciation of the Glasgow men & women who voluntarily & whole-heartedly served the American servicemen in the Club, and in gratitude to the people of Scotland who extended to the organization & those who served, the hand of friendship, cordial hospitality, & sincere material & spiritual assistance'.
