Description
Circular badge, 'Station Duty' in gold letters on blue enamel, and the emblem surrounded by Marylebone Division. During the First World War the Marylebone Division had a transport section which consisted of cars and ambulances. Detachments L/29 and L/41 were involved with the removal of patients from the local railway station to hospitals. The badge would have been worn by members of the ambulance column to identify them.
