Description
Black and white poster: Hurricane Katrina Appeal. An untold number of people have died in the United States in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, which has devastated an area the size of Great Britain. Hundreds of thousands have been left homeless and destitute in nine US states, including Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. The American Red Cross is giving shelter to more than 100,000 evacuees and aims to provide up to haf a million hot meals a day. Disaster experts from the British Red Cross are now working closely on the ground to help our sister organisation. Please support the relief effort by giving what you can today.
