Description
'Tracing. Each year the British Red Cross handles hundreds of enquiries from families separated by war or natural disaster. Some of these enquiries go back to the Second World War, others arise from more recent conflicts. The Society works with the other national Red Cross and Red Crescent societies, and the International Committee of the Red Cross, to trace missing relatives. In the past few years the British Red Cross has reunited, on average, one family a day'. With black and white image of a family being reunited at an airport.
