Description
Navy blue elasticated brassard worn by those working for the Wounded and Missing department during the Second World War. With the words 'Wounded Missing & Relatives Dept', 'British Red Cross and Order of St John' in white thread, with the word 'Searcher' in red thread in the middle. Number 713 is on the back of the armband.
