Description
One of a set of ten posters: ''International Aid: The British Red Cross is part of the International Red Cross. When disaster strikes overseas, the Society may respond to an appeal from a sister society through its generated funds, or it may launch a special appeal. Relief supplies can be despatched direct from its London warehouse. Skilled personnel may be sent to help. Families separated by war or natural disaster may be reunited through the Red Cross tracing service. The Society is also involved in development projects centering on Red Cross and Red Crescent societies in the Third World'. With black and white photograph. Ref. 3347
