Description
This poster was used as part of a promotional campaign to raise awareness of the British Red Cross and what they do. The key image is that of the red cross on white, associated with help and assistance, showing that The Red Cross are non-combatants, their purpose is merely to help those who are injured.

The large poster was produced in 2006, and plays on the message of the 350 languages, signifying that they will help any people of any nationality.

In my opinion, the shock tactics of using the phrase ‘Don’t shoot me’ are what makes this poster a great advert for the British Red Cross. Fortunately, as most people don’t know how to say the phrase in other languages, the Red Cross symbol speaks an international language to those in need of help.
