Navy gabardine cap worn by Miss A.J. Garbett, worked with the Motor Transport department during the Second World War. Cap badge is missing. Miss Garbett was a member of Stafford/18 and undertook nursing duties, later working with the Motor Transport department .She drove field ambulances to and from Tilbury Docks in Essex to pick up wounded servicemen returning from the Far East.
