Description
Signature cloth made in Changi gaol with seventy-nine names. The cloth was mentioned in a letter to the contributer Janet Watson Jefferies' mother: "I am also making a collection of camp autographs on a tablecloth and must have nearly 200. The cloth is half of the sheet I started with." It was embroidered in July 1942. Janet Watson Jefferies also contributed to a square on the Changi quilt and her name to the silk signature panel.
