Description
Commemorative illustrated plate: Norwegian Red Cross. Plate features an illustration showing male Red Cross volunteers assisting casualties, carrying them on stretchers to an ambulance carriage and a building with the sign 'Ambulance'. Red Cross emblem features at the top of the plate contrasting with the black and white design. Plate has gold edging.
Inscription on the back 'Rode Kors Platten NR. 1. Motivet er hentet fra boken Henri Dunant Ambulance NR.1. Omsorg I Kamp 1864 Tirettelagt Ved Designer KJjell Loa NR. 53'.
