Description
Black and white photograph of ambulances which were sent to France by the Joint War Committee of the British Red Cross and Order of St John. The wording is visible on the side of the vehicle 'Load not to exceed 1 driver, 1 attendent and 6 patients'. [one at least] was part of the Calcutta War Gift outside Proven railway station
