Description
Wooden collecting box in the shape of the Red Cross emblem: 'Please give freely for the sick and wounded.' Box painted red on top with a slot for coins. The words 'please give freely for the sick and wounded' are on the side of the box, with the words 'think of the wounded. Help the Red Cross' on the bottom. Used for fundraising during the First World War.
