Wood mounted brass ambulance plate with inscription: 'Given and endowed by "Lloyds", London Convoy No 1. Car No 12 Offert a la Nation et a l'Armee Francaise par les membres du "Lloyds" Juin 1916. Pendant la Defense de Verdun' (Translated as available to the Nation and the French Army by members of "Lloyds" June 1916. During the Defense of Verdun). Metal fixing at the top of plaque to enable hanging.
