Description
Envelope containing a piece of wire from first Zeppelin to be brought down at Cuffley. Presentation envelope has the Red Cross emblem on the top left corner and reads: 'Guarantee. This is a piece of wire of the first Zeppelin brought down at Cuffley, Herts, September 3rd 1916. The wire having been given to the BRCS by H M War Office. It is being sold to help the wounded at the front. Price 1.'
