Description
Set of League of Red Cross Societies posters: Humanity's Bridge - 'Reaching the Drop-Outs' illustrated with a black and white image. "Young people in the Red Cross are not afraid to tackle one of the most terrible dangers facing today's youth - drug addition. By establishing a neutral, impartial contact with addicts, Red Cross Youth volunteers in certain National Societies are helping 'drop-outs' to return to the society they have rejected. Such contacts help the addict regain lost self-confidence and may help him along the road to a cure. Red Cross Youth Sections have taken up the fight against drugs, alcohol and tobacco and other threats to health, as part of their health education programmes. For youth today, Red Cross can build towards the future. HUMANITY'S BRIDGE"
