Description
Black and white photograph of the ceremony for the naming of Croydon Division air ambulance 'Florence Nightingale' by Mrs Amy Mollison (nee Johnson) at Hanworth. The ceremony party are surrounded by British Red Cross members in uniform watching the proceedings. Inserted into the image is a press cutting from the 'Glasgow Bulletin' entitled 'Christened by Amy - Flying Hospital Equipped with Oxygen Tent'.
