Vellum bound album with the insciption 'This record was designed, executed and presented to my dear sister Edith, Mrs Palmer-Kerrison of Kirkstead, on the occasion of her birthday May 21st 1926, by me, Frederick [Nigers?]'. The album contains coloured illustrations and details of the staff and volunteers who worked at the hospital during the war, a description of the origins of the Kirkstead Detachment and the opening of the hospital, a list of benefactors, and details of patients treated at the hospital with illustrations of their regimental insignia.
