History
The first Middlesex detachments were formed in 1915, under the presidency of Mrs Leopold de Rothschild of Gunnersbury Park. In 1965 the branches boundaries were redefined with the Potters Bar division moved out of Middlesex into the Hertfordshire branch.

In 1974 the Middlesex branch was dissolved and a new London branch incorporating the County of London branch, the City of London branch, Middlesex branch, and some districts of branches included in Greater London was formed.
