Description
Bound volume with details of the comforts made (i.e. scarf, socks, gloves, helmet), the contributor, the destination, the service (i.e. Army, RAF) and the date. Includes a photograph of the hospital ship 'Isle of Jersey' and a note of the gifts made to men on board via Dr Howell. Note on the front of the volume states 'Property of British Red Cross Somerset Detachment/94. Record of Comforts made and dispatched to the H.M. Forces Hospitals etc; opening date December 8th 1937.
