Description
"Porton" resuscitator (Portable, Mark 1) in wood and glass case with printed 'Instructions for Use' pasted on both sides of case. Manufactured by P B Cow and Company Ltd, in collaboration with Macclesfield Oiled Silks (Resuscitator Division) Ltd, Macclesfield, Cheshire. Suppliers: Calmic Limited, Industrial Medical Division, Crewe [Cheshire]. This item was kept in the Emergency Aid Room during the Second World War at East Ham Memorial Hospital. When the Hospital was closed this item was passed to the Newick Centre, Sussex Branch
