Some of the main events during 1975 were: changes to the operation of the invalid travel section due to the costs of running the services with a history of the service 1946-1975; the former Branch in the Bahamas being recognised as a National Society; responding in Angola following the outbreak of internal conflict; and the launch of a major appeal for Indochina after the outbreak of fierce fighting.
