In Volume 3 each issue consists of an editorial, a News Review about British branches, articles, news about overseas branches, a 'Make and Aid: Provide and Aid' diagram with instructions, a list of courses and conferences to be held at the Society's National Training Centre at Barnett Hill, and advertisements. Examples of articles include; The Red Cross Nursing Services (issue 1), An Hour to Spare for the Red Cross (issue 2), Voluntary Service for the Disabled (issue 3), Red Cross Landmarks (issue 4), Miss Carstairs's Magic Island (issue 5), Visitors and velocipedes (issue 6), Siamese Twins (issue 7), Journey of an Escort (issue 8), Helping the District Nurse (issue 9), The National Blood Transfusion Service (issue 10), Courage to Persevere (about a new residential school for children with cerebral palsy) [issue 11], and Relief Operation in North Africa (issue 12). In addition to this, in issues 2-12 there is a serial 'Emercency Reception Unit' story, and in issues 2, 3, 5 and 6 a serial story called 'Swing That Lamp'. In issues 8 and 12 there is also a book review.
