Description
Letter from Edith Cope thanking the unnamed recipient for the parcels that they sent containing blankets;, pillows; waterproofs; tea and biscuits; and flannel jackets and belts. The packages were brought by Mr Wilcox and had arrived later than expected but the writer points out that this was not Mr Wilcox's fault. The letter talks about an enclosed cutting from a local newspaper about the work of the Central Society. At the end of the letter is a copied note in French that Mrs Cope had recieved from the Lady in Waiting for the Queen of Württemberg. 17 November 1870
