History
Individuals may be awarded long service badges on completion of continuous or accrued volunteering within any activity for every 5 years’ service, including service in youth roles.
Badges range from 5 years upwards, and may be awarded after every 5 years of service. Certificates are also available which can be used for all years of service.
Services and functions receive quarterly reports identifying those who are eligible for a long service badge, they validate and return these to SSC who will produce the awards and return to them for presentation.
