Description
News clipping in relation to Peter Price, a 22-year-old British Red Cross volunteer who was chosen for first aid duty for a Venture Scout kayak expedition in Norway, Sweden and Finland. He was selected for this event because his first aid knowledge was better than any other applicants.
History
The British Red Cross provided first aid at events from 1911 to 2019. Although the British Red Cross no longer provides event first aid, the organisation continues to deliver first aid training and education to ensure that everyone has basic first aid skills.
