History
During the winter of 2020/21, British Red Cross volunteers helped the NHS at flu vaccination centres.
Vaccination against influenza is available in England on the NHS every year and is offered to specific groups at higher risk of flu and associated complications. The World Health Organisation assess the strains of flu viruses that are most likely to circulate each winter and makes recommendations for vaccinations.
