Description
This patch was particularly inspired by the young women and girls who had been part of the EmpowHER programme since its creation in 2018. Having worked closely with many of them throughout their time with the programme, Kim wanted to portray their strength and determination and the huge growth in confidence she saw from them all. Her patch includes the quote 'she believed she could, so she did'.

History
Kim was the British Red Cross EmpowHER Youth Engagement Worker/ Manager.
Sharing her experience, Kim said, "Throughout the EmpowHER programme, I've been privileged to work alongside a huge number of really talented, inventive, passionate young women and girls. So many of them have struggled with their confidence, which is difficult to watch when you can see how brilliant they are! It's always a great moment when you see someone realise that they're capable of making change happen and start to believe in themselves fully and happily. On EmpowHER, I've been able to experience a lot of those moments."
