Description
The creator of this patch decided to contribute to the EmpowHER quilt because she wanted "to be part of a group designing artwork." She made her patch with the help of a friend and chose to feature the quote 'ya gotta believe the harder we work, the luckier we get' to show people the importance of hard work and collaboration.

This patch was made by a participant of the EmpowHER group at Uniting Communities Org (UCO). She first got involved in the programme when her Mum suggested it. Keen to be part of a group just for young women and girls, she joined and soon enjoyed "doing fun activities."
