Description
This patch was made over Zoom, as with some of the other EmpowHER quilt patches. The young women and girls had a conversation about the EmpowHER programme, thinking about the words that came to mind. 'Inspire' was a word they particularly wanted to include to emphasise that "girls should be inspired and be inspirational to others."

History
One of the group's social action projects was to put together packs to donate to homeless people. Following a presentation about youth homelessness by their British Red Cross Youth Engagement Worker, the group wanted to do something to make the lives of homeless people a bit easier. They chose to supply sleeping bags, food such as cereal bars, toiletries, tea and coffee, face masks, hand sanitisers and socks to those either who are homeless or moving into shelters.
