History
Bolton Lads and Girls Club took part in the EmpowHER programme with multiple groups. Their senior girls decided to focus their social action project on mental health. After speaking to their British Red Cross EmpowHER Youth Engagement Worker, they learnt more about the British Red Cross' services for those in need.
The group went on to organise an event to raise awareness of mental health and first aid, and they also encouraged members of the public to download the British Red Cross First Aid app. In total, 32 people downloaded the app, gaining more information about what to do in an emergency.
