Description
British Red Cross wooden collecting box: 'Help Us to Help Others.' Label on each side of the box showing the emblem and says 'Help us to help others / British Red Cross Society / Dispenser made by Croydon Industries for the Disabled.' Box has sloping sides, each with a recess. This could be just a design feature although it is possible that there was originally another part of the box that fitted into these sections.
