Description
Care in Crisis Regional Award 1992: presented to Dennis Thornhill, Avon Branch. Circular wooden award with circular metal plaque in the centre. This has been embossed with the Red Cross emblem and the head and shoulders of Henry Dunant. It is engraved with the words: 'British Red Cross' and 'Henry Dunant 1828-1910 Founder of the Red Cross Movement. Winner of the first Nobel Prize for Peace 1901.' A separate rectangular metal plate beneath this says: 'Dennis Thornhill Care in Crisis Regional Award 1992.'
