Description
Lavender bag made from linen owned by the Duchess of Devonshire 1837, and given to the Red Cross in 1915. Bag is square and embroidered with the words, 'This linen owned by the Duchess of Devonshire 1837' as well a a crown and flowers. On the reverse are embroidered flowers and the words 'Given to the [emblem] during the Great War 1915.'
