Description
Posters advertising forthcoming 'British Red Cross Farmers' Fund' agricultural jumble sale on July 4th 1918 and asking for donations. Bears large Red Cross emblem in centre at top. Small type reads: 'The promoters of the British Farmers' Red Cross Fund having succeeded in obtaining over £800,000 for the British Red Cross Society are desirous in increasing the Fund to £1,000,000 as so long as the War goes on, the Society requires all the support possible, considering that its expenditure is now between £5000 and £6000 per day. In order to make the Million Pound mark, all Districts which organised Sales and Collections last year are asked to arrange Sales and Collections this year.'
