Description
Black and white photograph of training at a first aid post in a London dockland shelter. Shows a VAD nursing member, a commandant and a young female child in a bed. The VAD is measuring medicine from a bottle into a measuring glass while the commandant is giving child a drink/medicine. There are various items of enamelware on a long table and two Junior Red Cross health posters on the wall: 'Laws of Health' and 'Play in the Open Air'.
