Black and white photograph with caption: "Nurses of the War Organisation of British Red Cross and St Johns prepare their mobile first aid unit, chocked full of American Red Cross supplies, for a night blitz. This unit can be rushed to locality of bomb damage to aid the raid victims. It is stationed in the centre of the worst bomb damage in London. The unit can operate from the van or the contents of the van can be set up as a small emergency field unit".
