Description
British Red Cross Centenary Collecting tin with slot on the top and paper label with '1870-1970' and images of a face made of red crosses. This image was specially designed for the 1970 centenary of the founding of the British Red Cross Society, and was available as a poster, letter sticker, car sticker and slips for boxes. Attached to a string at the top are two cardboard labels saying; 'Authorised Collector's Badge; Red Cross Day/BRCS/County of London Branch/Official Seller at Hackney Area; Issued to Miss Humphrey.'
