Metal Voluntary Workers badge in gold, the letters V and W are intertwined and surmounted by a crown. Number 187856. The presence of the crown signifies Crown Service. Belonged to nurse Mrs Grace Fitzgerald who served with East Lancashire Red Cross and at No. 19 General Hospital, Egypt for seven months, 1915-1916.
