Description
BRCS personal kit bag belonging to L J Mackintosh. Heavy weight dark brown material, with white stencilled lettering 'General Service member L.J.Mackintosh B.R.C.S.' Complete with brass D ring and padlock (key absent). [Accompanied by three pairs of leather leggings.] Belonged to Lilian Janet Mackintosh, a member of Inverness/40 who worked as a Chauffeuse in Wimereux during the First World War.
