Description
Hand-written list to accompany drawings by Joyce Dennys. Illustrated with the head and shoulders of a VAD in uniform. 'Who strips the bed you just have made? Your breakfast now will be delayed; Who, when the deck has been "sqee-gee'd" spills water on it without heed?; Who carries tea trays bowls and brush So to her rescue all must rush; Who, when the Doctor goes his round is all adrift and can't be found?; Who called you back for [illegible] And is not had by any brick; Who, in giving out the clothes Just throws them on the bed in rows?; All these things are but a few off what those luck less V.A.s do!!'
