Description

Empty tin of sugar. Originally supplied in 8oz packets, reduced to 4oz packets when rationing introduced. Because of complaints of damage, packets were replaced by two 2 1/2 oz tins in November 1941; in May 1942 by two solid bars (2 1/8 oz each) from November 1942 by one 4 oz bar.
