Navy skirt, part of the Uniform of Angela Pery, Countess of Limerick. Skirt made in two panels with zip to left, four darts to back and two darts to front, half lined in grey with black inner waist band.

History
Angela Pery, Countess of Limerick, became a British Red Cross VAD in 1915 and worked in a Red Cross Auxiliary Hospital in London. From there she went on to work at Princess Christian's Military Hosptial in Englefield Green before being posted to France in 1917.
Following the war, Angela worked at British Red Cross London Branch where she became president in 1935. In 1939 she became a foramation member of the Joint War Organisation and in 1942 became Deputy Chairman of British Red Cross Executive Committee transferring to Vice Chairman in 1946 until her retirement in 1963. In 1952 Angela was elected as a member of the ICRC/League Standing Commission and became an Honoury Life Member of British Red Cross the following year. Between 1957 and 1965 Angela was Vice Chairman of the League of Red Cross Societies.
In 1964 Angela was awarded the British Red Cross badge of Honour and became Chairman of the ICRC/League Standing Commission where she was re-elected in 1969 and served until she retired in 1973. Between 1974 and 1976 Angela served as Chairman of Council of British Red Cross following which she was appointed as the first non-Royal Vice-President of British Red Cross. Angela died in April 1981.
