Description
Wooden shield featuring the badge of the Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force. Badge features red, yellow, green and white vertical stripes with gold star, silver anchor and crossed swords and central black, silver and red shield featuring 3 boats with St George crosses on the sails. Underneath the badge is the inscription 'Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force.'
Hand written on the reverse is the following note: 'Presented to S R Limerick at luncheon 3/07/89 by Commadore Williams Head of Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force.'

Given to Lady Limerick in July 1989 when she visited Trinidad and Tobago Red Crescent Society when they were celebrating the 50th anniversary of their foundation as a BRC branch. (became RCS in 1963)
