Description
A British Red Cross Society wooden collecting box depicting VAD member in indoor uniform from the waist up. Wooden box painted blue with the words 'British Red Cross Society' and 'Thank You' painted in red. Red Cross label on the base is damaged so some information is missing but the box belonged to the Bromley branch of the Red Cross and a collection date of Jan 70 from a location on the Parade can be made out.
VAD figure on the top of the box is very fragile.
