A British Red Cross Society Middlesex Challenge Shield Medal. The red cross emblem is in red enamel ona silver background. On the revers it has been engraved with: 'B.R.C.S. MIDDX. Challenge Shield 1927'. There are several hallmarks at the top of the medal and there is a small link to enable it to be worn. Awarded to Edward Hunt, donors' father.
