Description
American Junior Red Cross Gift Box 'For Girls' containing a toothbrush, tube of toothpaste, bar of Lux soap, pack of crayons, reel of cotton sewing thread, pack of sewing needles, bar of soap, metal jacks with a rubber ball, white shoelaces, black shoelaces, two pencils, comb, 6" ruler, a letter and a ball. The letter inside the box is from the school that sent the gift box, and contains the following information: Lakeside School, 2325 Hall Street, East Grand Rapids, Michigan. Name of teacher: Mrs Mehrtens. Stamped: Kent County Chapter American Red Cross 55 N.Division Grand Rapids 2, Michigan. Pupils who helped fill the box: Judy Bertsch, Shirley Miller, Dave Lathriap, Dean Brerngle.
