Description
Wooden octagonal trophy with hinged sides that open out to enable display. Painted relief carving design of a male and a female cadet standing on top of the globe of the world holding hands, with the Junior Red Cross Jubilee years '1924' and '1984' on either side, emblem above and name of the trophy around the edge. Winners are painted in black on the two fold out sides, dating from 1984 - 2000. Reverse of the trophy has an engraved central emblem and is signed and dated. Has a purpose made wooden box, with 'Margaret Lyon Trophy' written in ink on the sliding lid and bearing a label of the maker.
