Albert Medal awarded to Miss Alice Maud Batt: 'Presented by Miss Alice Batt, Voluntary Aid Detachment, for gallantry in saving life at Rousbrugge in Belgium on the 1st October 1918'. Oval medal topped by a crown while the centre bears the intertwined letters 'A' and 'V' surrounded by the inscription 'FOR GALLANTRY FOR LIFE SAVING ON LAND'. The ribbon is attached by a ring on top of the crown.
