Description
Ice bag used as a cold application to arrest internal haemorrhages and for the treatment of inflammation. The bag would be filled with ice broken into small pieces and salt to delay melting, covered ina piece of flannel or lint and suspended from a cradle so that it just touches the body part, but does not rest on it.
