Signed minutes of meetings from the inaugural meeting held on 17 July 1905 to the twenty-fourth meeting held on 4 August 1914.





The volume contains papers presented to the Council including: a list of rules for the organisation and management of the British Red Cross Society; a report on the administration of the Society's finances and system of accounting, 1909; a charter of incorporation, 1908; appointment of county directors; records of the number of meetings held by Branches; the number of Voluntary Aid Detatchments registered with the War Office; estimated income and expenditure summaries; report of the sub-committee appointed to devise a suitable uniform and badge for the Society's Voluntary Aid Detachments with the price for each item; copy of an Act of Parliament for amendments in the law necessary for the provisions of the Second Geneva Convention, 1911; templates for certificates in first aid and home nursing; medical organisation in case of invasion; the British Red Cross Balkan Fund; and details of personnel sent out during the Balkan Wars.
